In the field, scoring

I lost signal in the middle of the round.

Keep scoring normally. Everything is saved on the device at each tap and goes up on its own when the network returns. The footer shows how many marks are still only on the phone.

The screen reloaded / the phone froze / I closed it by accident.

Open the same round and the same squad again: the marks come back as they were. Nothing was lost.

The "Review and sign" button is disabled.

One of two things:

  • a clay is still missing for some shooter — the station bar shows in yellow or red who is incomplete;
  • there are still marks that have not gone up. Wait a few seconds with signal; sending is automatic.

I marked the wrong clay.

Tap the box again: the X goes back to O. Before the signature you can correct as much as you like.

The system said another judge has that shooter.

Two people scoring the same athlete at once produces a wrong result, so the system holds. Agree on who scores and try again in a moment.

The match does not show up for me.

You have not been linked to it yet, or the match is still a draft. Talk to whoever organises it — it is quick on both sides.

Signature and PIN

The athlete forgot the PIN.

The club front desk can release the closing without their PIN. The exception is recorded with the name of whoever authorised it.

The PIN is locked.

Too many wrong attempts lock it for a few moments, for safety. Wait a bit and try again.

The athlete left before signing.

Same path as the no-PIN exception: the front desk releases it and the round can be closed.

The browser keeps offering to save the password when I type the PIN.

That should no longer happen. If it does, it is the memory of a password saved earlier — delete it in your browser settings.

The match does not ask for any PIN.

That is right: the club set this match to be signed by the judge only. This is decided before the match starts.

Result already signed

I need to correct a closed round.

The club reopens it stating the reason (scoring error, contested clay, equipment failure, referee decision or other) and the detail. The round becomes editable again, the signatures fall and all of it stays in the history.

The result does not show on the public scoreboard.

Check in this order:

  1. was the round closed by the judge?
  2. did the club publish the results of this match?
  3. is the round active in the match settings?

The athlete's total looks wrong.

Open their strip: the total is the sum of the X marks across every closed round. An open round does not count, and a warning does not deduct points.

Building the match

I cannot enter results.

The match is probably a draft. Activate it — with the button on the match screen or by finishing the wizard.

I cannot configure publication.

Same cause: a match in draft does not publish. Activate it first.

The athlete signature option is locked.

The match already has a result entered. Changing the signature rule now would change the meaning of what has already been signed, so it freezes at the first score.

The match clay total is not what I expected.

It is the sum of the active rounds, and each round is worth stations × clays per station. Check those two figures in the round settings.

I cannot remove a registration.

It already has a result entered. A signed result is a document of the match; if it exists, the registration stays. Cancel the registration instead of removing it.

The athlete registered twice / with different details.

Cancel the wrong registration. If the details differ from the club record, fix it in the athlete record: the record is the same for every match.

The public link does not open.

Each link (registration, match page, results) only responds after it is published, and registration also respects the deadline, if you set one.

Did not find your situation? Talk to whoever organises the match: every change made in the system is recorded with author, date and reason, so it is always possible to reconstruct what happened.

This guide covers clay shooting matches (COMPAK, Skeet, Trap and Sporting).
