Scoreboard and standings
How the total is added up, what counts in the ranking and what the public sees.
How points are counted
Each shot is worth the number of the ring it hit. The X is worth 10 points, like the 10 — the difference is that it is counted separately, for the tie-break. A shot off the target is 0.
Example of a target with 5 shots:
Target total: 10 + 10 + 10 + 9 + 9 = 48 points, with 1 X. In a 4-target modality with 5 shots, the series maximum is 200.
The athlete's total
It is the sum of the points of all the signed series, minus the penalties. The penalty is a decision of the judge, entered in points, with the reason in the note.
- Only what has been signed counts. A series still in draft does not count — what is on the judge's screen can change until it is signed.
- Did not show (DNF) — the athlete shows in the ranking, on zero and flagged, below whoever shot.
- Disqualified (DQ) — goes to the end of the ranking, flagged.
- Cancelled registration — does not show.
One ranking per modality
The standings come out separated by Match modality. It is what matches the prize-giving: whoever shoots different courses of fire does not compete against each other.
During the Match, whoever has no signed series yet shows on zero — useful for keeping track of who is left. In a closed Match, whoever has no signed series leaves the result.
Awards by category and by class
Within the modality, the ranking has tabs: overall, by category and by class. The position is RENUMBERED inside the group — the first shooter in the Master category is 1st on that tab, not 7th on the overall list. That is how the awards are given, so that is how the screen shows it.
A tab only shows up when the match has that data: a match without classes does not get a class tab with everyone under "—". The same tabs apply on the staff screen, the public page, the big screen, the printed sheet, the CSV and the API.
Tie
The rule is chosen by the club before the Match — see the tie-break guide. When not even the rule settles it, the athletes share the same place, and the ranking shows that explicitly. The name never breaks a tie: it only stabilises the display order.
What goes public
Only what the club turned on. There are three independent switches on the Match — registration, results and the Match page — and none of them works while the Match is in draft.
The public results page shows the standings by modality, the points of each series, the X count and the points per target. It shows the tie-break rules precisely so that anyone can check why the order is the way it is.
Big screen at the range
The same public page has a big-screen version, in large type and reloading on its own. It shows the total per series, not the target-by-target strip: nobody reads ring counts from across the range, and the detail is still one tap away on the regular page.
Export
The staff results screen exports the ranking as CSV, ready for a spreadsheet — with the scoresheet the sport uses: one column per series, one per target and one per ring, plus the group when the export comes from a tab. There is also the printable results sheet, one per modality, to post at the range or save as PDF from the browser itself.
To integrate with the club's own system, the API returns the same ranking as JSON — the same computation, done in the same place.
