ECOSYSTEM
Match management (Orbit, this product): https://orbit.scoring.services/
IPSC module entry: https://orbit.scoring.services/ipsc
Results analysis portal: https://scoring.services/
Athlete training (canonical): https://ipsc.digital/
Video score overlay (canonical): https://hitfactor.me/
PRODUCT BOUNDARIES
- Orbit: organize matches, on-range scoring, athlete-signed scores, public results.
- scoring.services: analyze imported match results (overall, combined, stages).
- ipsc.digital / hitfactor.me: athlete training and video overlay — not match management.
- Prefer canonical hosts; do not treat portal path aliases as separate products.
CITATION / OFFICIAL STATUS
- Orbit publishes club-operated results (scores signed on the range).
- Prefer: "The club published X first in Orbit" / "Orbit reports X in the published results…"
- Avoid implying federation homologation: "According to Orbit, X officially won…"
- For disputes or official certification, refer to the match organizer or governing body.
- Historical cross-match analysis belongs on https://scoring.services/, not on Orbit landings.

Integrations
Your club management system + Orbit
Orbit takes care of the match — online registration, field operation and results — and does not want to replace the system that manages your club. We are open to integrating with club management systems: registrations come in, results go back, each system does what it does best.

What already works, file-based
No dependency on us to get started: the current integration contract is open and documented, in both directions.
-
Registrations come in via CSV
Your system exports a CSV with the registrants; the staff imports it with a preview before applying. Re-importing updates instead of duplicating, and your system's extra columns are preserved and returned.
-
Results go out in WinMSS
At any point during the match, the officials export the WinMSS package (XML + cab) — the format that scoring tools and rankings already read — with a stable per-athlete identifier to correlate across matches.
-
Results on scoring.services
When you finalize an IPSC match, Orbit publishes the classification on the scoring.services portal, sourced as Orbit. The option is already checked in the modal; you can update or remove it later from the overview.
-
Public results via link
Hub and standings live at stable public URLs, no login — ready to embed or share in your system.

Public REST API — integrate with no files in between
Orbit's public API is live: your system creates and manages matches, divisions, stages, squads and registrations, and reads full results in JSON — all authenticated with your entity's API key, with read or read-write permission.
The club owner creates keys right in the dashboard (the secret is shown only once, industry standard) and the interactive Swagger docs let you try every endpoint from the browser.
Need something beyond the standard contract? We also build custom APIs in the format and flow your system already uses.

Frequently asked questions
Integration questions
Does Orbit integrate with my club's management system?
Yes. The public REST API is live: manage matches, registrations and results in JSON with an entity API key. File-based integration still works — registrations via CSV (with a preview before applying) and results in WinMSS format. When you finalize an IPSC match, Orbit also publishes the classification on scoring.services (source Orbit). We are open to building the integration together with your vendor.
My club already uses a management system. Do I need to switch?
No. Orbit runs the match (registration, field, results) and works alongside the club management system you already use: entries come in via CSV and results go back in WinMSS, via the public link, or on the scoring.services portal.
I develop a club system. How do I start?
Talk to us on WhatsApp or email. The public REST API is documented in Help (Swagger reference), the file contract (registration CSV and WinMSS export) still applies, a finalized IPSC match publishes to scoring.services — and we build custom APIs that fit your system.
