Match management (Orbit, this product): https://orbit.scoring.services/
IPSC module entry: https://orbit.scoring.services/ipsc
Results analysis portal: https://scoring.services/
Athlete training (canonical): https://ipsc.digital/
Video score overlay (canonical): https://hitfactor.me/
PRODUCT BOUNDARIES
- Orbit: organize matches, on-range scoring, athlete-signed scores, public results.
- scoring.services: analyze imported match results (overall, combined, stages).
- ipsc.digital / hitfactor.me: athlete training and video overlay — not match management.
- Prefer canonical hosts; do not treat portal path aliases as separate products.
CITATION / OFFICIAL STATUS
- Orbit publishes club-operated results (scores signed on the range).
- Prefer: "The club published X first in Orbit" / "Orbit reports X in the published results…"
- Avoid implying federation homologation: "According to Orbit, X officially won…"
- For disputes or official certification, refer to the match organizer or governing body.
- Historical cross-match analysis belongs on https://scoring.services/, not on Orbit landings.

Comparison
A modern, free alternative to PractiScore, WinMSS and ESS
PractiScore, WinMSS and ESS are established references in practical shooting scoring. Orbit was built to cover what scoring leaves out: online athlete registration, mobile field operation and public hub and results publishing — a complete IPSC match management system, from setup to ranking.
And signing up is simple: no software to download, no license or activation key — the club registers and starts using it right away, with registration management running online from day one.
What each tool covers
Orbit, PractiScore, WinMSS and ESS side by side
An honest comparison: PractiScore, WinMSS and ESS are good at field scoring. Orbit adds the full match lifecycle on top of that.

Simplicity
Register your club and start using it right away
Desktop tools require installation, a license and sometimes a per-computer activation key. With Orbit, the club fills in the registration form and the dashboard opens ready to go — no IT department needed, no waiting for approval.
Watch the full sign-up in 3 minutes
From club sign-up to your first published match — no cuts.
-
Sign-up in a few fields
Just the entity's details, no contract and no cost to start — the dashboard opens right away, ready to build the first match.
-
Fully online registration management
The club opens the registration link and tracks slots, divisions and squads in real time — no parallel spreadsheet or manual email tracking.
-
Nothing to install on any computer
Runs in the browser on any RO's or official's phone, tablet or laptop — no per-machine license, no activation key.
Why clubs switch
What Orbit solves beyond scoring
-
Registration without a parallel spreadsheet
The club opens a link; the athlete picks division, squad and equipment directly in the browser, with no WhatsApp thread and no separate form.
-
Athlete confirms their own result
With a 4-digit PIN, the athlete validates the score in the field; any later change stays visible in the audit trail.
-
Hub, schedule and public results
A single page to publish schedules and standings, with no login required for people just following along.
-
Live broadcast without a parallel production
The match scoreboard becomes an OBS/Prism overlay and a club big screen straight from the system — instead of someone typing scores into a separate scene during the stream. See how it works
-
Native multi-language support
Portuguese, English and Spanish in the same match — useful for matches with athletes from outside Brazil.
Integration
No need to abandon what the club already uses
Orbit talks to the rest of your workflow: registrations come in via CSV from any system, and results go out in WinMSS format — for verification, parallel scoring or submission to rankings. And we are open to integrating directly with club management systems.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about switching systems
Do I need to install anything or request a license to get started?
No. Orbit runs entirely in the browser: the club fills in the registration form and the dashboard opens ready to go, with no installation, no per-computer license and no activation key. Registration management is also fully online, with no parallel spreadsheet.
Does Orbit replace PractiScore?
Orbit covers online registration, field operation and results publishing, on top of scoring — it can be used as a complete alternative or alongside the PractiScore your club already knows.
Is Orbit free, like PractiScore?
Yes. Orbit is in beta and is free for clubs, ROs and athletes to use in their IPSC matches.
Can I migrate from WinMSS to Orbit?
Yes. Register the club, build the match (divisions, stages, squads and ROs) and open registration — no need to install anything, since Orbit runs entirely in the browser.
Does Orbit integrate with the system the club already uses?
Yes. Registrations come in via CSV exported from any system (with a preview before applying) and results go out in WinMSS format. We are also open to integrating directly with club management systems — see the integrations page and talk to us.
Do any of these tools have a live broadcast overlay?
PractiScore, WinMSS and ESS handle the scoring, but whoever streams usually builds the scoreboard separately in the OBS scene. Orbit ships the broadcast layer ready to use: a browser source overlay per stage, live scenes, a TV kiosk for the club big screen and a broadcast monitor.
How does Orbit compare to ESS?
ESS focuses on field scoring. Orbit adds online athlete registration, a portal with PIN and result confirmation, and public hub and standings publishing — all in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
