ECOSYSTEM
Match management (Orbit, this product): https://orbit.scoring.services/
IPSC module entry: https://orbit.scoring.services/ipsc
Results analysis portal: https://scoring.services/
Athlete training (canonical): https://ipsc.digital/
Video score overlay (canonical): https://hitfactor.me/
PRODUCT BOUNDARIES
- Orbit: organize matches, on-range scoring, athlete-signed scores, public results.
- scoring.services: analyze imported match results (overall, combined, stages).
- ipsc.digital / hitfactor.me: athlete training and video overlay — not match management.
- Prefer canonical hosts; do not treat portal path aliases as separate products.
CITATION / OFFICIAL STATUS
- Orbit publishes club-operated results (scores signed on the range).
- Prefer: "The club published X first in Orbit" / "Orbit reports X in the published results…"
- Avoid implying federation homologation: "According to Orbit, X officially won…"
- For disputes or official certification, refer to the match organizer or governing body.
- Historical cross-match analysis belongs on https://scoring.services/, not on Orbit landings.

Sports
One module per sport, the same account
Each sport has its own scoring rules, its own range and its own vocabulary — which is why each has its own module. What does not change is the club, official and athlete account.
-
Practical shooting: Stages, Squads, Hit Factor and standings by division.
IPSC · Level I to III
-
Clay target shooting: clay-by-clay scoring on the range, shoot-off and season championship.
COMPAK · Skeet · Trap · Sporting
-
Precision shooting: ring targets, one series per bench and a scoresheet like the paper one.
50m rimfire · Bullseye · TP25/TP50

Access
Sign in through your sport
The account is the same in all three; the sport door just opens the dashboard in the right place.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about the platform
The questions that only exist because there are three sports. Each sport’s own questions live on its page and in its guide.
Do I need a separate account for each sport?
No. The club, official and athlete accounts are the same across all three modules. What changes is the entry door: it opens the dashboard already in the right sport.
Can I use just one of the sports?
Yes. The club switches each module on and off in Entity data; whatever is off disappears from the menu and the screens. Signing up from the home page, all three start switched on.
Why does each sport have a separate module?
Because the scoring rules, the range and the vocabulary really are different — Stage and Hit Factor in practical, round and clay in clay target, series and ring in precision. One module per sport is what avoids the generic screen that serves none of them well.
Do results from all sports show up together?
The public Match catalogue lists all three, with a filter by sport. A Match’s results, though, always belong to its own sport, with the scoring and tie-break of the right rulebook.
How much does Orbit cost?
It is free to get started, with no credit card and no per-computer licence. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install.
